«Sangen om en brukket nese» – eller «The Ballad of a Broken Nose» som den heter på engelsk – har fått prisen Batchelder Honor Book Award fra The American Library Association. Dette er en pris som deles ut til utenlandske bøker utgitt på amerikanske forlag. Eller som det heter på prisens nettside: «Awarded to an American publisher for a children’s book considered to be the most outstanding of those books originally published in a foreign language in a foreign country, and subsequently translated into English and published in the United States.»Romanen utkom på Simon & Schuster forlag sommeren 2016.
